The Easycil POS app requests specific Android permissions strictly to provide essential retail and hardware capabilities. We do not use these permissions for unauthorized data gathering:
BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_SCAN: Required exclusively to discover, pair, and connect with external thermal receipt printers.
CAMERA: Used solely as a barcode and QR code scanner to quickly look up items and add them to sales transactions.
READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used to export sales summaries, receipts, and invoices to PDF or Excel files, and to save local database backups.
INTERNET: Required for syncing data with the cloud server, user authentication, and critical software updates.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and provide the core features of Easycil POS.
